Dry ice blasting / cleaning

Most commonly called dry ice blasting, this innovative cleaning method is also known as: dry ice cleaning, CO2 blasting, dry ice dusting and even environmentally sustainable cleaning.

Dry ice blasting is a highly effective method used for industrial cleaning where dry ice, is accelerated in a pressurised air stream and directed at a surface in order to clean it.

Dry ice blasting is non abrasive so instead of using hard aggressive media such as grit or sand to grind and therefore possibly damage the surface, dry ice blasting uses soft dry ice accelerated at a high velocity to lift the undesirable dirt off the substrate without causing any damage.

Dry ice blasting can be used in a wide variety of applications ranging from sensitive cleaning situations such as removing flux from electronic circuit boards to heavy duty applications like the removal of slag from engineering production lines.

Dry ice blasting has a wide range of applications in fire restoration work and factory deep cleans and is used in the construction, food and beverage, automotive, oil, electricity, chemicals, plastics, ferrous and non ferrous metal casting, packaging, printing, aerospace and rail sectors.

Complete Blasting Solutions uses the latest cutting edge dry ice blasting equipment to effectively and efficiently clean a wide range of surfaces removing contaminants and achieving the most impressive results on sites in and around Sydney.
